This form should be filled out by faculty and/or staff who run summer undergraduate research programs at LSU. REU PIs, program directors, and mentors should fill out this form on behalf of their student or student cohort. Students should not fill out this form.

Event interest

All LSU Discover summer events are optional and participation is voluntary. Program directors, mentors, and PIs are free to decide which, if any, of these events they will require of their students. For events that require fees, we will contact you about how you would like to be charged (Journal Entry, registration fee, etc.)

How many of your students ill attend the REU Welcome Dinner? The cost per person is $25 and includes a meal and drink. (RSVPs ended for this event on May 17)

How many of your students will attend the REU Orientation? There is no cost.*

How many of your students will present at the Summer Undergraduate Research Forum (SURF)? The cost is $30 per student presenter and includes lunch.*
